Camp Katrina, Tylertown MS., the emergency shelter set up by the Humane Society of Louisiana to care for hundreds of pets displaced by Katrina, Rita and Wilma. I met some of the finest people I've ever known while volunteering there. They arrived from all over America and Canada to help. This video was compiled by Lisa, one of the amazing volunteers, to honor all of those folks. I hope she won't mind me posting it.

I recently purchased a book at our local Dollar Tree Store. It's titled Katrina Pets. Do read it if you can get it. Well worth the $1.00 I paid for it.
