This is the remake of my least popular Tenchi Muyo AMV ever, The Tenchi Girls Le Disko. It may have been so unpopular because no one else likes the song besides me (yes, it's a tweeny song...but I still love it), but I think it was mostly because the timing and lipsynch were just so terrible. It was an excellent idea, but for the time I made it, my editing experience and knowledge of iMovie weren't advanced enough to execute it. Now I think I manipulated the program to make this AMV the way I originally intended...let me know what you think.
I also censored this version, so the one curse word (again, an f-bomb) isn't actually spoken. But you can still hear it, so it's not much of a censorship, I guess...ah well.
Intro Song: 'Kill The Rock' by Mindless Self-Indulgence

When I saw the first virsion I like it but something didn't seem to quit fit. Couldn't tell what it was 'cus you DID have a lot of other mistakes. THIS version you fixed all the timing, snyc and flow issues you had so I was able to figure whats bugging me. A lot of the clips have mostly virtical and horozontal lines - diagonal lines have more motion and fit a dance song better.
Still - great job on a hard song!!

Eh, that's a tad nitpicky, don't you think? Besides, with a 13-episode anime, I don't exactly have the same selection of clips I usually would with a full series (i.e. 26 episodes or more). But other than that, I'd agree with you. The first version was just awful. :P

oh, very! (sorry - I'm both a perfectionist and a professional animator) :P
Anyway the angle of the lines is easily adjustable w/ pan/crop or a similar effect. I wouldn't have bothered to mentioning it except I know your good enough to make use of that in your future amv's. Good luck and looking forward to your next one!

Heh well I'm not that familiar with the effects iMovie HD can provide because I hardly ever use them, so I don't even know if I have anything like that. Nappyho's better with the effects than I am (he uses the same program). But I should probably get around to tinkering with the effects to see what I can and can't do -- probably more on the 'can't' side, but who knows, I might be surprised. :P
