More info at http://www.rcgrabbag.com. A vintage Cox vehicle video complete with vintage background music, all put together on a vintage Commodore Amiga Video Toaster Flyer system. It doesn't get much more retro than that!

  • The sound of the cox engine brings back great memories, I had the Cox Jeep and enjoyed it until I found girls much more interesting and the poor car most likley was thrown away.....what kind of fool am I....

  • @HuasoPodrido Don't be too hard on yourself. We've all had moments like those! At least we have new avenues to relive those memories!

  • I had one of those in my day also!

  • @lawbench191 That's awesome, me too. Most people probably had one of these Cox cars or knew someone that had one. They are such a staple of the toys of the 1970's. Hard to believe they're not made anymore.

  • i had the same purple dune buggy back in1971 also in 1975 got the adam 12 police car.cox built some really cool stuff back in them days.

  • would be so cool if you make a good race track for those retros, just run down the straighways, turning on curves, watching them go by, now that would be so cool!!

  • @SuperKONR That's really cool,I remember Mongoose were very popular BMX bikes then.I always had Schwinn's myself, they were about the toughest bikes, nearly unbreakable! But glad to hear that people out there are being raised right, being outside exploring and having fun is better for Your mind anyway, and yeah, 500 channels of commercials and junk, little of it worth anyone's time,You're father has the right idea getting you out riding.

  • @Oldbmwr100rs 500 TV channels and there's nothing good on, that's why I don't pay for cable lol. I love riding my bike everywhere, my Dad gave me his 78 Mongoose that he bought brand new and delivered papers with!

  • I found my uncle's dune buggy in my Grandma's attic and he gave it to me. I bought a new engine for it but it still needs new tires. 25 years in a hot attic isn't kind to rubber.

  • This is how we dreamed of having fun long before video games and 500 TV channels! Yeah, we often got cuts, scrapes and burns, fuel sprayed on our faces and all over our clothes, but we had real fun. We rode bikes everywhere, You hardly ever see kids riding any more, and i haven't heard a gas airplane in a park in ages. I guess some of us were lucky to grow up back then.

  • I had the red funny car but it never ran good due to kink in fuel line I never fixed... Where is it now?

  • How works the clutch?

  • Awesome! I want to run mine bad! Thanks for sharing!
