Used the archives of Steve Hill and sounds from the official Dr.Who site UK, and mixed it together. As a kind of tribute i used the modern sounds and voices over the old pictures...

  • Bill Hartnell is the reason we are all enjoying the new series. He made it work, God bless him. He was a much darker Doc too, which was really interesting.

I still prefer the original Tardis control room and that amazing console.

  • yes. I prefer the original tardis console than the one currently being shown, and I agree with you about him being THE doctor, he got me hooked in the first place in 1967!!

  • A nice compilation of Pictures.

  • thank you for leaving your comment, i do know it's nothing special but it's my first

  • Nice enough

  • thank you, hope you will enjoy my next ones (planning to make one vid for each doctor)

  • @jimmyjambhere Among the Buddhists there's a belief that when you die you influence a person who is born at that time. You and Hartnell? Will you be the next Doctor???

  • I want to see she older shows released on dvd. I miss that traveling-with-the-odd-grandad-feeling. I loathe the new Tardis. It is like Willy Wonka and Chitty chitty bang bang dropped acid simultaineously at a rave.

  • @cazzioli He was gone by '67 lol

  • @Thedoctorsbiggestfan Amazing. The show started one day after John F. Kennedy died.

  • @1400deadwood no denying that

  • @jwg2372 I wonder if it was because of the Daleks Master Plan which was 12 episodes. I wonder if he did like that the Dalks kept coming back and the show was too science fiction and not enouph historal stories.

  • @britfrenir There are actually two stories about why Hartnell left. The official line was he left due to failing health but there's also a rumor that he left because he didn't get along with the incoming producer and disliked the direction the new production staff was taking the series.

  • I read that Willam Hartnell left the show because it was hard on him because of his age. I wonder how many more years he would have played the doctor.

  • @pacmanindy, WTF???

  • Doctor Who, for the first four doctors was an ever improving programme with a sound scientific basis, and a genuinely likeable character. Hartnell, Troughton, Pertwee, Tom Baker, made the character, it was fantastic.

Tragic to see what it has become now. What a loss to the children of Britain.
