  • Hi, are you able to scallop a fender stratocaster american standard? and also would you recommend from a certain fret onwards or is it better to do the entire neck?

  • @Frettrend Hey, sure I can scallop that neck!. Some people scallop from the 12th fret upwards to the 21 or 22. It depends on your style of playing and your preferences. If you do a lot of complicated chords, I wouldn't recomend scalloping the first frets (or the frets you mainly use for chords) because if you press the strings hard, the chords can go out of tune.

  • are those scallops to like yngwies specs? and do you give the neck a layer of nitrocellulose lacquer after you scallop it?

  • @midget6mafia Hello. The scallop depth depends on the type of neck and the top side markers. If the customer doesn't care about losing the top side markers, I can go as deep as they want. Yes, after the scalloping process, a coat of lacquer is applied.

  • Walliot, I have a few questions on your services, I have a Steinberger (spirit gt-pro deluxe) headless guitar. Can you scallop Thru-neck/Set-neck guitars, specifically from 12 and up? My second question is for looks, do you know how to place inlays on fretboards? In specifically in the style of a Steve Vai Jem with the vines.

  • Hello.

I can scallop a neck thru/set neck guitar with no problems. The only drawback is that unless you live close to me, the shipping costs will be very high due to size and weight of the package.

Now for inlay work, I currently offer dot markers. Elaborate vine inlays are possible but are very time consuming and special tools are needed. I currently don't offer them because I'm on a tight schedule. I'f you really want to have it done, let me know and I'll see what I can do for you.

  • Is it possible for you to scallop and Ibanez wizard II neck with shark tooth inlays?

  • WANT!!!!!

  • I got here by way of the kid who 'professionally' scalloped his own fretboard with a file and a sanding block. I think your work is just a bit nicer, hahaha.

  • really nice work....OUTSTANDING STUFF.....

  • um i cant help but notice that your phone number is from pr sorry i just think que nos conocemos por una razon o otra lol

  • YEAH!!! RACER X >>>>>>I love Paul Gilbert!!! He is IMHO much more cooler than Steve Vai or Satriani. I saw G3 in New York and he was the best one in the Jam at the end!

  • can you scallop set necks

  • I'm going to get a Gibson Les Paul Standard Traditional Pro and was wondering if you would be able to scallop it? If so how much would it cost?

  • Can I go to any guitar shop and ask for them to scallop it?
