@dropway9 Frazier was a better fighter than Ali. People forget that Frazier was legally blind in one eye and yet he never said anything about it publicly. In fact in the second Foreman fight, it was a close fight until a glancing punch by Foreman knocked the contact lenses out of Frazier's eye, and he couldn't see anymore and Foreman won by TKO. Frazier had learned from the first Foreman fight and would have won if he could see. It is amazing what Frazier achieved with one eye

Poor Oscar, he was sort of the gateway to the upper tier of boxing. If you couldn't beat Oscar you didn't deserve to be in contention for the Championship, but Oscar never won it himself.

Ali had his place.. but was extremely too arrogant. Frazier besides being an excellent boxer and athlete.. was a gentleman.. through and through. Bonavena was just absolutely a monster.. that few wanted to f' with.

@Roswellsounds Fighters today are just as tough as fighters of yesterday. Watch guys like Gatti, Ward, Adamek (who has been fighting much bigger men than himself), Cotto, Baby Bull Diaz... the difference is the corners are smarter and the refs are smarter and know when a man is in danger. It's a sport dude. It ain't worth someone's life.
