@danent657 However, if someone drew a weapon, or tried to kill or seriously harm an innocent person including yourself, that's a bit different than a backhand or an insult. Deuteronomy 19:10 forbid the life of the innocent being taken. Leviticus 19:16 forbids gossiping and doing nothing when one is a defenseless victim and you can stop it or try to stop it. That's about it. Oh and btw, in the NT when Jesus said the law was finished, he never meant the old testament!! He meant animal sacrifices!

Jesus was teaching old-test ( not animal sacrificing mosaic law ) law about defense had been abused by the scribes and pharisees. Eye for an eye was directed to the courts, not people. They started vigilante squads. Jesus forbid private retaliation. Or a backhand, or an insult about your mother. Turn the other cheek, don't strike him.

@danent657 Pack: Luke 22:30-50 is any and every follower's license to carry weapons, including firearms. It doesn't give them rights to do anything other than defend the life of the innocent or hunt if need be. 1Sam 13:19,22, Nehemiah 4:17-18, Exodus 22:2, 1Tim 5:8. If abused, that is when law enforcement confiscates and punishes, not for mere possession alone. That, is abuse right there. Peace: Psalms 144:1, Proverbs 25:26 shows at times in ones life, they had no choice but to defend.

@danent657, Glocks are from 20th century Austria, so no he never mentioned packing glocks. Demand, I misspoke. Pardon me. He gave the lawful option to own weapons, and to carry them. He never excluded a weapon, just wrongful action. Jesus would condemn one with bare hands who attacks, versus someone good and legit with an AK-47/RPG. It was all based on what you had it for. Man set their own laws. Jesus's laws are still supreme to a human being. Pack and Peaceful. In another post I will continue

@alsatian9130 It depends on what you mean by "deranged". Do I think that by virtue of being dempublican that they are stupid? Not at all. Some are stupid, just as some Libertarians are as well. Still, there IS a right answer to problems and the dempublicans are just wrong. I just happen to know what they are up to.

There is a long tradition of voter fraud throughout the political spectrum. Think Kennedy/Nixon for one example on the other side of the coin. We are being fed our choices and I am not liking it.
