It wasn't even a slap. He didn't do it abusively, he was just showing the dog who is the boss of the two. Just because some people discipline their dogs with a light slap, doesn't mean they don't love them. I do the same thing when my dog doesn't let go of his toy. He then thinks it becomes a game though so runs around wanting me to chase him haha. At the end of the day, that will have no negative effect on the life of the dog. There is much worse an owner can do to his/her dog

i have a pitbull as well, that was NOT a 'slap'. These dogs do not feel pain, mine had a torn ACL and I had to force the vet to operate on it because she did not show any signs of pain. With these dogs, that is just how you have to play with them or they get bored.
