This video is the least I can do when I think of all that Tammy Faye has done for me and my life. She has truly inspired me with her amazing courage, joyous spirit, and seriously enduring faith; all of which I will remember her for.
No matter what happened, she always had all three of those characteristics and presented them with a bright smile and a twinkle in her eye... even when faced with the cancer that took her life. May her memory be eternal!

Tammy was a wonderful person! She really cared about people.
In the 1980's I sang on PTL with a group of people. After I went to a taping of her cooking show. After the show I talked with her for about 20 minutes. She was so interested in me and what I had to say.
In 2005 I was at a red light on Peachtree Rd in Atlanta and she was crossing the street. I blew the horn at her. She looked at me and motioned me to the parking lot. She hugged me and called me by name and kissed me.

The REAL tragedy was Roe Messners' FIRST wife, who lost her husaband AND everything they owned due to the PTL scandal. Messners' company didn't get re-imbursed for work and materials after PTL went bust.

I saw one of her interviews shortly after the cancer came back and learned it was terminal...she said that when she died she wanted her friends/family to throw a party. I wonder if they honored her request.

Tammy Faye , was onlu guilty of NOT KNOWING -She never knew who Jessica was until after She left Betty Ford- and in recovery she found out THE TRUTH ! She survived on very little in her remaining years- AND FOUGHT CANCER- READ & THEN YOU WILL KNOW TAMMY FAYE.

I had the opportunity to meet Tammy is person and found her charming. Check out what their ministry really was. You may be surprised. I loved Tammy's Tea Parties. She was also one of the very first to speak out about compassion to gay people. No wonder she was hated.
