One VIR lap with Ultima GTR passing me (Corvette C6 Z51)

This lap was a good one ... especially being passed by the yellow Ultima GTR on the back straight. I was doing around 140 MPH when he went around me like I was standing still. I had pointed him by well in advance so he didn't have to lift off of the accelerator as he passed me. Notice how quickly he is totally out of view after he goes around me. He probably hits 170 to 180 MPH on that back stretch. That car is awesome. It does zero to 100 MPH and back down to zero in like 9.5 seconds.

do you have to worry about deer on the track at VIR?

@amiricle55 Every once in awhile a deer will run across the track. I have never personally seen one, but have heard stories.  I have seen geese and even a turtle on the track before.

I wouldn't feel to bad about running around in c6 z51 and tracking it. Those Ultima's with a 700hp engine just waxed the famed ferrari fxx on top gears track. and hey they have a heart of a chevy so its like its the corvettes big brother ;)

@KirbSleep I'm surprised you're still an import guy after owning that many RX7s ;) Just kidding. I can't imagine putting any other V8 besides a SBC in an Ultima, seems like a waste, but to each his own!
