  • and personal responcibility and a knowledge of right and wrong is the root cause of ALL of the world's problems including any race and religion.

  • You are spot on! We'll work our end, and you work yours, and we'll meet in the middle somewhere...

    :0)

  • Its all about personal rsponcibilility. You are two intelligent, respectful members of the black community, so why can't other black people do the same, seeing as they share the same background as yourselves?

  • As Barrak says: Yes we can! However we need to be taught the knowledge of self first. Once we know who we are, and how we came to be in the position that we are in, then we can begin to take up our mission in life. Unfortunately, that is when the "powers that be" tend to turn against us. There are far too few "intelligent respectful members of the black community" (as you put it), leading by example. Guidance is crucial.

  • You say that the black youths of today lack motivation due to a lack of inspiration, yet if you look at the mainstream icons of young people from all backgrounds in the western world, a huge number are black.

I mean look at all the millionaire black rappers we have nowadays... isn't it an obvious fact that in today's society it is possible for black people to make a name for themseleves and generate wealth in a legitimate way?

  • We do not lack motivation, we lack righteous motivation and guidance! Our purpose in life is more than rapping and singing for your entertainment. Our mission should be: family, community, and nation. Sure we can make a name for ourselves... but who wants the name doggy-dog? or Nigga With Attitude? Whys must we allow ourselves to be portrayed in the worst light — as thugs and whores in thongs — in exchange for so called success!
