The Battle of Nicopolis took place on 25 September 1396 and resulted in the defeat of an allied army of Hungarian, French, Burgundian, German and assorted troops (assisted by the Venetian navy) at the hands of an Ottoman force under the lead of Sultan Yildirim Bayezid Khan (aka: 'The Thunderbolt'), raising of the siege of the Danubian fortress of Nicopolis and leading to the end of the Second Bulgarian Empire. It is often referred to as the Crusade of Nicopolis and was the last large-scale crusade of the Middle Ages.

  • What crusade would this be....I thought the 100 years war was going on

  • bro.. I admire your effort to visualize Muslim's struggle during the great era of Ottoman Caliphate.

I'm your Malaysian Muslim's brother. Do U create more expecially on naval battle during the era of Heyruddin Barbarossa?

  • @zulfiqaralam1 Timur was apparentley a muslim too but a related to gengis khan i think.

  • @OttomanTotalWar As far as I know, this not the last crusades against Ottomans. there were series of big crusades campaign against ottomans. They were Nicopolis in 1396, Varna in 1444 and Second Kosovo in 1448. Ottomans annihilated all crusades armies in these battles that After these battles crusaders took the position of defense rather than offence, thus they couldn't find any force to help Byzantians in 1453. Animation is really attractive, thank you for your effor

  • Very nice effort to produce an animated battle of Nicopoli it would have better impact if sieged Turks in the fortress of Ncopoli showed. The great Bayezid Yeldrim annexed Balkans, serbia and reached almost to present day Austria even he was planning to annex Hungary Empire of Sigismund to Ottoman.Unfortunately Timoor Lang had destroyed Muslim Ottoman Sultanate in the battle of Ankara although he did well in entral Asian States.

  • nice video keep it up

  • @OttomanTotalWar ok,thanks.the name confused me
