I still love The Contractions, their live shows knocked me out!!!

I was at this show. Debbie is the best fucking drummer ever! We grew up in the same redneck town... Kathy also has done alot of great work for deaf rockers....Mary is still a big goof....

A vocal student of the late Judy Davis, Mary Kelley's vocals are mesmirizing, with a range that both comforts and teases. On her new release CD, she does a version of "Bali Hi" that takes you there. This was such a great band. Their best recording was their first single. Therew as one LP, but the edge was taken off. They were a great live band. Kathy Beck is the bassist, the singer here, the guitarist Mary Kelley. No idea if they were in later bands, they disbanned c.1984
