The last tip was worth it. You forgot about deflecting bullets around corners with the shield, though I have NEVER seen that done in a real game. It's just too random.

@Drift0r I agree. I would've put in bullet deflection, but I couldn't set up a situation where I actually killed someone with it.

I've gotten ricochet kills with the riot shield on Drop Zone. Enemy had set up a sentry gun in the DZ, and I had the Support Juggernaut without Blind Eye, so the sentry opens up on me, and all of the sudden I'm getting double and triple kill medals by just sitting there.

It was friggin' sweet.

my problem with the riot shield is that my ingame character doesn't move as efficiently as I do. I'd use my riot shield, keep my eye on him the entire time but then as he goes around me I watch him perfectly but I still died. Didn't make since, I watched him perfectly, even as he tried to get behind me, he can't shoot through my riot shield how did I die? When I watched the kill cam, my ingame character didn't even budge. He kept looking forward as my enemy moved behind me and shot me. wtf

@yomega260 Try using an LMG with the riot shield+trophy system trick as quicksdraw makes the LMG's much easier to use, and you have an excuse for using SoH pro with the riot shield even more than before. Since the mobility of Riot Shield users and LMGs are the same you don't really lose anything further. Since LMGs are best for holding important flankable sight lines the riot shield could let you turn on the unfortunate SMG user who decided to flank you.
