My new book on the great 1978 Yankees team, The Greatest Comeback Ever, is the only book ever written by a fan, live-time on a great sports season. It's available at Amazon.
One of my former bosses treated me the same way Steinbrenner treated Billy by favoring his golden child and telling me to manage her. The problem was this woman was unmanageable and a compulsive liar! I got the last laugh a couple of years ago!
You can get it on DVD through ESPN. It was riveting. I was 14 in '77, and they did an excellent job of portraying each of the characters as they actually were.
I loved this series! The last time I recorded every episode of a show was 90210, about 15yrs. ago. This show keeps me as entertained as I was with an Aaron Spelling production. Bravo writers and producers.

I'd love to see a sequel about the 1978 season.
BTW, Erik Jensen was haunting as Munson.
