SmartCycleShopper reviews the all new Ducati 1098 R Bayliss Limited Edition. Ducati builds the 1098 R Bayliss Limited Edition in celebration of Troys Baylisss victory in the 2008 World Superbike Championship aboard the Ducati 1098 R.
@2LonelyPlanet Though I suppose you could buy a regular 1098r and have it painted to look like a Bayliss Limited Edition for far less. Most people probably wouldn't know the difference unless they owned one, or someone pulled up to compare side by side.
I saw one online for $40k with less that 1k miles on it. But 40 grand???!!! Really?! I could think of many custom bikes I could build with half that kind of cash. lol
Barry Winfield I rmr from Car and Driver, and its cool tht he can appreciate 2 wheels as well but FFS get someone who can actually RIDE the fookin thing. Compare with MCN
Where is this guy filming from? This bike is worth more than what he said, where im from in Australia. They were $60,000 when they came out here in 2009. And they are easy to ride on the road as long as turn down the traction control to the 1, 2, or 3 setting so you can put power down without the DTC kicking in and slowing you down.
@yoGOES only serious if you cant afford to fix it. It's only made of carbon fibre, pretty cheap stuff. I get asked all the time for rides on the back. when you tell them what a new tail section is worth, they change their minds in a big hurry.

@viggoM35 true that, i would not spend $70k something for a bike even it's the sexiest ducati :P , GTR is way better and safer :) hehe right?
