  • Nice technique. How would you work the jig in 30 - 40 ft water in Texas during June. The big fish are in deep water humps on Fayette this time of year.

    I would use a 3/8 to 1/2 oz jig and let it sink and then slow roll it across the top of the humps.

  • The color of the braided line doesn't spook the fish since you are swimming it?

  • @travis1874 Most of the time I'm fishing a swim jig it's on the Mississippi River so the fish seeing the line isn't an issue. If I do fish it on clearer lakes, I'll go with 15 lb. Seaguar.
