Something I noticed as a kid was the order the presenters were used on Skull. Sure series 2 started with Frances, followed by Gerard followed by Sabra. Series 3 began with Gerard, followed by Sabra, followed by Frances. Was series 1 Sabra, Frances, Gerard?

Was also puzzled by the fact that Gerard was credited by first name only in the credits.

Does anyone remember the episode during the 1991 series where Frances gorged herself on ice cream and became very large, by aid of a fat suit?

@rosebankross I'm not sure about Skull but "Gerard" wasn't actually the guy's name, that's the name of the character that he played on the show and that's how he was credited, his real name was Angelo and he also gets a credit under his that name.

The sad thing is that I have the episode of The Chart Show which followed on that same date. The sentimental Summer Saturdays live on...

@RobinBlamires Well my recording cuts off at the point you see here. Lucky you, you have more Chart Show episodes from that era than I do, I really do wish that I had recorded more from this era.

@TVajb Nah, most of mine were taken from "The Vault" back in 2007, and others are from those who have dubbed episodes onto DVD.

@RobinBlamires Oh I see, I know that they're repeated a lot of Chart Show episodes on The Vault. I still think that both Ghost Train and The Chart Show were great shows for a Saturday morning/afternoon on ITV.

@rosebankross i remember francis making a massive pig of herself in a fat suit, althogh i think they just put pillows in her dress? she got mad lettuce disesse and couldnt stop eating and eating. then she bounced people off the steps and had a big fake icecream as a prop? lmao. culdnt do that on kids tv today, it wouldnt be PC!! next week they did a joke about how she was too heavy to fly in an air baloon!! the cathy dennis song is from that balloon episode. i miss francis, she was a sport!

I remember that in the first series of Ghost Train there was a studio segment called The Impro Show that featured Sandi Toksvig. The Impro Show also featured a puppet called Brumble The Bear who was really funny. He was created, operated and voiced by Simon Buckley who also did Nobby.

Not many people remember Brumble - he also appeared in The Pig Attraction a few years later. Billie The Pig, who presented The Pig Attraction, was another of Simon Buckley's creations.
