  • Most of the bible wasn't written untill several generations after the death of Jesus.

Claiming the gospels were written by the apostles is actualy rather humorous.

I forget the term the catholic church uses for this practice (knowingly falsly attributing writings to the long dead). But the fact they actualy have a term is rather telling... yeah they admit it. So there is no real arguement here. The stuff wasn't written by people who actualy knew jesus. End of story.

  • But they will claim it was passed down ORALLY (it wasn't). They are like brick layers. Just scrape in the mortar anywhere there's a crack.

  • Hey Truth Surge - Great series.....one point....you should put the "part a, b, c, d" in the title.... I had to click around to find the order....

  • thanks. I usually put links at the end to next vid. Just hadn't done it yet. sorry bout that.

  • If you don't know why the "man" wasn't there, then you don't understand the trap! Hint: Consider what the Jews would have said if Jesus had asked "but where is the other who committed this crime?"

  • Very thorough.

    I can't rate so, 5 apples up.

    Yummy.

  • @beefygoblin i think the term you might be looking for is pseudoepigraphical

  • I know what you mean. When I watch a cdk or donexodus vid (or others like them) I tend to not comment because I feel that I'd have nothing really to contribute as I am not as schooled at that level of science. But sometimes I comment.

  • Yeah, I realize you're a friendly sort, and I'm usually not bashful about leaving comments.

It's probably because I tend more towards having a rough working knowledge of science issues, rather than analysis of historical texts.

  • hehe That's what I'm shooting for. I am trying to lay a bunch on the table as I see it. If it looks appetizing, grab it. If not, I'll give you your $ back. :)
