  • That was not a so strong of a goal against, to say at the least.

  • you know people always say how bad Hextall was in 97, but watching Vernon in 95 I think was worse, he let it extremely soft goals, maybe because he's only 5'9 and hextall's 6'3, and I'm not defending Hextalls inexcusability, but I thought Vernon was really awful in this series

  • This was hockey at its best. Gary Thorne and Bill Clement doing the broadcasting on ESPN, and the Devils were dominating the Red Wings. Heaven, as the championship video would say. ;p
