around 2:40 i found the clarinetist's tone was getting really bad as she pushed to be heard over the pianist... other than that, no big complaints!

This is a great interpretation. I really like this pianist. This is how it should be done. The balance between the players is very nice too. It's easy to make this very dark and heavy. These two vary the tempo and texture and it's a very satisfying result. They make it look easy. It is far from easy.
