Small town values? What the hell is that. I've lived in Fairbanks for 10 years and Anchorage before that I just moved to Seattle and there are proportionally as many nice and good natured people here as there was Fairbanks. Screw Wasilla its not a small town its a suburb of Anchorage half the bloody town commutes into Anchorage every morning.

An awesome speech. Fred is right. Sarah is great. McCain and Palin are going to win this because they are real and are conservative. They don't believe in bigger government as a savior of the common man.

They just believe that middle class is anyone who makes under $5M a year.

And the "trickle down" theory that even the rich say doesn't work.

They throw around small-town values, but what in the hell ARE small-town values? They would betray their own values to win an election anyways, as McCain has.

I don't really find small town values all that compelling, and Alaska may be the largest state in terms of square miles, but doesn't it also have one of the smallest populations? Also that alligator simile makes me question their views on environmental conservation.
