  • So fantastic to see all of you engage in this! It would meaningfully reinforce (and in fact it's neccessary) this critical cause if each of you pushing this challenge would also follow it. Slave Free by 2013! Clothing, food, durable goods, electronics. It's neccessary to practice what's preached when asking this of others, and to successfully hit slavery where it feeds: on us, the consumer! Go Blue! Live out and pass on the message! Supporting slavery is wrong for everyone.

  • @Bayanix .

You didn't deal with my criticism, you didn't engage with it, and you didn't negate it.

The cold war ended over 20 years ago. Can you get up to speed please? Who mentioned communism?

I don't think anyone has to 'offer a better system' in order to be allowed to offer criticism, but since you ask, I'd like to see one that enshrines fair and sustainable activity over that which makes the maximum financial gain. I'd lke to see one that doesn't operate in a moral vacuum.

  • @doublesandbank Dude capitalism is great, clearly you're someone who hasn't reaped the fruits of success it can bring, If you were in a communist country do you honestly believe you could enjoy such products? If you cant offer a better system, don't criticise the existing one!

  • 'Now we want you, our favourite Duke alumni, to join our cause.'

I love the way in a video highlighting an exploitative company's mal practice, good old subserviant capitalism still bows down to the leaders - those who manage to exploit more than anyone else.

They are talking about rape and murder with smiles on their faces. Surely this is a bit sick? Ain't capitalism great?

  • Apple has chosen not to make a product that is not conflict-free, How does Apple care? if they cared enough they would have done this without any pressure, so if they decided to change, the result would be another dealer between the conflict and them so they would keep making money and Tim Cook will be on stage repeating "Conflict-Free Product" in his best Steve Jobs persona - But he did it to make more money not a better world. Deciding to not purchase Apple products would be a better stand.

  • LOOOOOOOOOOL

  • Yeah Braveen! Sweet suit!
