@Alastairjack123 Same here, except I have seen the remake. It is pretty good, albeit not as good as the original.
What Matt Reeves tried to do was grab people's attention about this great story. Kinda failed though since it barely broke even.
Still, I think it is a good movie. I do recommend you at least check it out. It'll still be infinitely better then Twilight. :-)

@werleniaz Im a teenager who has never bothered to read twilight or see a film but went to go and see let the right one in at the cinema and have read the book of let the right one in, and I didnt bother seeing the remake
not all teenagers never watch foreign langauge and love stuff liek twilight

Amazing. A film with two 12 year old children is so much better than two near adults in a teen vampire flick. This movie is fantastic.

I am a fan of both "Let the Right One In" AND "Twilight." I think most people make the mistake of assuming that Twilight is just for kids, because of the screaming 12-year-olds. But I can assure that Twilight has some decent qualities! For one thing, the characters are older, which makes Bella and Edward's decisions more dramatic and serious.

You compare this piece of Pure ART! To Twilgiht... you must be 16-18 years old... this movie was the best of 2008. Twilight sure had some cool special effect but other than that it was just a movie for teens = Big money for the company. This instead was a movie for those that seek a bit more than special effects. Hell even the silence in this movie had a meaning. You can never ever compare this one to something like Twilight that was made for teen audience and for big money.
