With the moisture probe SONO-MOVE Teflon the company IMKO presents a completely new probe for moisture measurement in adhesive materials such as Calcareous lime sand.
In addition to the moisture value, also delivers a radar-based conductance value (RbC Radar based Conductance). This enables enables to establish the mineral content in the measured material and consequently ensures an improved quality control.
With its special probe design the SONO-MOVE T is ideal suited for installation on conveyors and in silos, containers and hoppers. The material on the conveyor belt is affected only slightly with the wedge-shaped structure. The probe head is made of Teflon and thus providing best possible anti adhesive properties. SONO probes calibrate themselves in the event of abrasion due to a novel and innovative probe design. This consequently means longer maintenance intervals and, at the same time, more precise measurement values. Their secret: The application of the most modern TRIME® radar technology (Time-Domain-Reflectometry). Via an electromagnetic TDR-impulse with a frequency of 1 GHz SONO-probes measure the water content precisely until the material has become saturated, and they continue to measure beyond this stage. In addition, valuable observations can be made regarding the mineral content or the consistency of the material measured.
An extremely wide variety of devices can be equipped with SONO-probes and they can be connected to all control systems without any problem.
