Sand Conveyor Without/With Powerboss Softstart

This video shows a conveyor belt starting DOL (Direct On Line) and then with a slow start. You will see a significant difference between the two. This belt has been operating with a tremendous strain on the Drive train, pulleys, conveyor belt and rollers. Due to this combined strain it caused peak demand cost to sore. By installing Powerboss and reducing this strain we reduced the Peak demand by 52% and there was a12% percent reduction in KW.
