Tens of thousands of people gathered Friday, December 26th in Guinea's capital for the funeral of the country's late dictator, President Lansana Conte. Mr. Conte died last Monday following a lengthy illness. His death triggered a coup by military leaders who are now in control of the West African country. VOA's Chris Simkins has more on the story.

  • this bitch is in hell today

  • tu vas manquer a ce qui ce sont remplie les poches au detriment des pauvre , mais tu vas surement repondre de tes acts devant le tout puissant , quand on est chef on doit avoir l'interet de tout la population a ceour pas seulement l'interet de sa famille , all you did it's to make mess , that what I call monkey stuff

  • The future of guinea is in the balance. In all likeliness he will come back and not be able to take the helm or if he does I bet he will be overthrown. The other possiblity is since the massive purge of "plotters" ie enemies within and out of the army he might be able to come back. To be honest nobody knows shit I have studied africa and the world for 7 years and the situation is so uncertain nobody knows what will happen. I don't think a civil war is likely but the army has to be tamed
