28 days later - A rotting bowl of fruit

This video came joint 1st in the BARC multimedia section 2008.

28 days later - A bowl of fruit. A peach, banana and some grapes.
Actually it was more 20 days, shot in my airing cupboard, one picture every 10 minutes and edited in adobe after effects.

Fortunately the camera has an automatic timer function so all you need to is to check it once a day to make sure the memory cards not full and everything still running OK.

maybe you live in a warmer place than me! I think 200 fruitflies would add to the picture!

I've shot another one that I havn't posted yet and the heat from the lights dried the fruit.

ok...i might be wrong, but i always thought that fruitflies were like born in the rotting fruit? like larvae out of dead meat? once i put some melon leftovers in the garbage, 1 week later, im telling you, 200 fruitflies, it was the summer, but i know they didnt just fly in from outside...i had to use a vaccuum to get them all out my house, they were everywhere, even on my guitar yes! lol
