PEN In The Classroom | SCAIR Final Reading

In the summer months of 2011, a group of women met every week at the Southern California American Indian Resource Center (SCAIR) near San Diego, California, to attend a series of PEN In The Classroom community writing workshops with instructor Jim Ruland. At the end of the community writing residency, all of the work produced by the writers was collected and published in an anthology. This video was filmed at the group's final reading, which took place at the Barona Resort & Casino in Lakeside, CA, on December 9, 2011.
