Pictures taken when on holiday on the Orkney islands 2008... These pictures were taken whilst we were on holiday for a week staying on the isle of Orkney. We has a fantastic time with plenty of things to do and see. Stunning scenery and beautiful walks are part and parcel of your average day. The ferry from either Aberdeen or Scrabster is a great way to start your holiday and having arrived the options that greet you go on and no. Marwick Head, The Italian Chapel, The Churchill Barriers, The tomb of the Eagles, The Gloup, Old man of Hoy, Mawes Howe, Stones of Stenness, Ring of Brodgar, St Magnus Cathedral, Brough of Birsay, Scara Brae.
