@NmETech If I had to choose today, I would buy the Mesmerize because of the larger screen and the internal memory for apps. As far as I know it allows over 500 mb or so, and the Mesmerize allows 137 on boot with Froyo. You can always root your Desire and tweak a few things to have unlimited memory for apps (by moving everything to the SD card). I love HTC Sense, but there are other home replacements like ADWLauncher which makes sense unnecessary for me personally. It's all opinion based really.

Whats your opinion of this vs the mesmerize?

Would you recommend this or the Motorola Electrify? Do you think the Desire will still be available in February just wondering bc I cant get a new phone until February.

@LIFELOVEBIEBER If you're choosing between the Desire and Electrify then i would definitely choose the Electrify. A lot better specs all around, no doubt. If you want an HTC Sense UI phone though, I still wouldn't go with the Desire. I would choose between the HTC Merge (with a keyboard) or the Hero S which is the newest HTC device available with USCC. The Desire is pretty outdated now, mainly due to the lack of internal storage for apps, which you'll quickly notice! Hope that helped :)

does the phone require a data package/plan?

@rustlervxl43 Yes, any smartphone with USCC requires a data plan.

what would u rate it out of 10?

@AssyrianPowers Today, April 3rd, 2011, I rate this phone about an 8-9. It has Froyo, 1 GHz processor, good screen size, HTC Sense, and a very solid build with a great camera. The only things that hold me back from saying it is a 10 is that it does not have enough internal space for apps. This, of course, varies from person to person. I travel all day in a large city and follow many different sports/news, so I use a lot of apps. All depends on what you need a phone for. :)
