for some reason one of my favorite all-time lyrics. It strikes a nerve with me, though I'm not sure which one. Over the last few days this has become one of my favorite Pearl Jam tunes. Lyrically reminds me of Dylan's All Along the Watchtower, but it's much more razor-edged. Great song.

Seems like a natural progression from Yield moreso than Binaural was. Binaural was the one that took some time to get next to, for me anyway. Especially coming on the heels of the incredible LP that preceded it. Haven't been able to stomach the most recent 2.

One of their greater songs from one of their greater albums. Never understood why this album didn't really make it. But then again, my favourite PJ albums are Vitalogy, No Code, Binaural and Riot Act. Their two last albums have won them critical acclaim but in my opinion they are a bit boring.
