Here's an observation, when whites adopt black kids (YIKES!) why do they USUALLY adopt the mixed ones and ignore the ones that look like buckwheat.

mixed ppl usually set the standard of beauty. its no longer blonde, blue eyes pale skin... its now (and has been for a lil while) brown hair, green/grey/hazel eyes, and brown/tanned skin.

if you could choose your own child, would you not choose the one that meets the standard of beauty??

Asians have similar issues as well...not just wanting to be lighter but mainly with having their eyes look more Euro...have you heard of the "eyelid cosmetic surgery"?? Most popular cosmetic surgery in Asia ...in ordero to look more European.

i have heard of the surgury...i did a response vid to it. i cant speak on it much tho. an Asian person said they do it to look more like animee characters...made sense to me.

i think they do it to look more apealing...not necesarily more European...simply because regardless how big their eyes are, they still look distictly Asian

Hi I agree with your veiws on Tyra Banks, I used to love watching her show, but the more I watched it the more I realized how she is really discriminatory and causes seperation on her shows rather than unity which is what she promotes.

Just watched your vid on the asian eye-lid surgery and wanted to check out the rest of the things you had to say...I really enjoy your commentary. Love "walking pieces of art..." Whatever the damn media projects for us to consume/emulate, I've never found the majority of "stars" who are crammed down my throat particularly attractive, specifically because so many of them take to the scalpel and meds to achieve some kind of grotesque/tv look.

wow, I love watching your videos and i also admire Tyra Banks. I agree and disagree with you both from time to time. Im mixed black and white and feel very strong about inter-racial understanding and I love how Tyra is not afraid to discuss race in an honest nature when most of the country ignores it every day. yes it may cause controversy, but i feel like that is only the first step in fixing anything. for this reason alone i dont think you should be so hard on Tyra all the time.

I sure wold adopt a kid that looked like him, but whites go for the mixed looking apparently because they deem them to look more pleasing and that in itself is racist.
