i love these lifts the best ones at hampsted on the northen line realy realy fast tryed to get a vidio of it but ther was a driver who got in the lift just as i was about to get my camara out one day tough ill get a vidio *****

Haha, yeah same here, the again, if these were installed today they'd be out of order and just about big enough to fit 2 large people. Back then when it was used to take many people in the war down to the subways used as shelters they needed massive elevators to get loads of people down there. I am suprised that these have never been out of order since I have seen them carrying 100,000 people a day, Thanks.

Haha, I think it's one of the biggestI have seen. I want to film this again with my new camera and mabey rde the lift up and down to get the sounds and atmosphere of them. Good Joke!
