What is the process if you need to install a .EXE file across your network?
wek5006 4 months ago
@wek5006 this only works with MSI files. You need an MSI creator, but from what I've read, it's easier to just to go to the machines individually and install the EXE.

Q:
why do you create it as USER GP and not as a COMPUTER GP?
it it due to the registry settings the Firefox package is pushing for users?
So it is re-installed for every user logging on the same client?
Q2:
which program did you use to convert the FF package to an MSI ??
HorNet505 11 months ago
@HorNet505 Q1) I assigned the MSI to a user instead of a computer. No reason for it. I just did.
Q2) I downloaded it from the internet. A website called FrontMotion.

Can you install programs like Steam though this and run the games on one computer with them being installed on another? I would like to use one computer basically as a program hard drive? Thanks.

@MrMusicalmatt No, this is for when you work in an office and you need to install the same program on every computer. Like everybody in the office needs to have Office 2010 on their machine.
