@doltdog Thank you. I've been working on a presentation that covers GMO's, and 5 seconds with Google showed that the Grapple is not GM. A bit more effort on the part of the woman in this video would be appreciated.
Google: It's your friend.

A grapple is not a GMO. It is an apple with grape flavor added to it. This lady doesn't know what she is talking about

@TeodoraBG Genetic modification uses recombinant DNA techniques, it is not the same as conventional breeding that has gone on for thousands of years. GM poses a whole new set of risks that have never existed with conventional breeding, such as antibiotic resistant markers, virus promoters, agrobacterium, etc.

If any of you think ever tasted real organic food then all of you are wrong... Every fucking cultivated organism was modified genetically over the years.

@shinokiba People die from allergic reactions, so it isn`t that they just didn`t notice! Allergies have increased and it has little to do with increased food, celiac disease for example, has been linked to new proteins that didn`t likely exist in the 9th century. Also nobody ate organic food in the 9th century. Organic food didn`t even exist until around the 1900`s. Organic farming uses modern technology that simply didn`t exist in the 9th century.

@ourfamilyvideos808 Allow me my friend. You see, people always had food allergies, just no one noticed until now. Before modern farming methods, people would just eat whatever they can find, they wouldn't care if they were allergic to it or not. Because of GMOs, the surplus of food skyrocketed, food became cheaper and easier to grow. Because of this, we started eating more, and we got fat. Charles the fat lived in the 9th century, he only ate organic food, and he was still fat.

Can anyone explain why there has been an epidemic of food allergies and obesity in children. During the '60s and '70's, food allergies were almost unheard of. In my humble opinion, GMO's are the culprit of the explosion of obesity and food allergies amongst America's youth.

@jennytailya1 If you want to bring back DDT then you are the one living in a bubble. Stop getting your info on DDT from the junkscience website(Steve Miloy was a Monsanto lobbyist). Stop getting your info on organic from Hudson Institute(funded by Monsanto). Read some studies in peer reviewed journals done by independent scientists and it will burst your bubble.
"Degrees don't equal intelligence. But clearly they foster an arrogance"
no reggie. Degrees demonstrate that you have the brains, and the determination to accomplish something & prove to a board of experts that you know what you are talking about.
Don't be bitter because of YOUR failures. Just because you were expelled from school because you lack intelligence and discipline.
Or I suppose you think that people who have NOT studied topics should be considered the experts...
moron.

And reggieworthless claims to have posted a few peer reviewed articles to shut someone up... looking back over all the comments here he has done no such thing.
Lying as usual.
Typical reggieworthless. Taking the anti-scientific side of every topic. Lying. Making claims he cannot back up.
Go back to your fantasies reg. Little more pot. Describe to us how you make your bubble hash again...
