  • I want a tri-z so bad to go with my 200x! Also need a tecate and a 250r and 500r as well!

  • I own both an 86 and an 85 buddy has a 85.5 hopefully one day ill find another 85.5 and ill have all three models, I bought both of my tri zs from the original owner for 500 dollars the 85 has full dg and has like 20 hrs on it the 86 has alot of ride time isn't in as good but still top shape I like the 86 more the 6th gear really gets, in fact just put new chain n sprockets on it about a half hour ago, looking for a tri zinger 60 for my daughter too! Yamaha in the blood!

  • I was in the shop of a Yamaha dealer in 87. The mechanic was cutting the steering frame off a brand new 86 tri z. I ask why and all he said was can't sell em anymore.
