@thermalCat Great......Thanks:)

@carkadk 'souverainiste' (said with french accent). wikipedia suggests it means "A supporter of political independence for Quebec from Canada", but i suspect the name has been adapted in the Euro' Parliment to mean something like "A supporter of more political independence of member states from the European Union ".

@TheDougass I like Ron Paul in many ways, and I campaigned for his son. I don't totally agree with his foreign policy views. That being said, as much as I like him and always have, he can't win a presidential election. Sometimes I think he runs simply to state his views, not to actually win. That being said, I haven't yet decided whom I'm supporting in the primary, but I do know it won't be him.

Mr. Hannan, you can certainly deliver your opposition and criticism at numerous meetings of Council's working parties. Working parties (attended by national experts as well) is where discussions take place and where changes to policies are carried out. If you have the necessary proficiency (e.g. at agriculture or fisheries), pls take part in it just like the other experts do. Expert working parties is where you can initiate amendments of any kind.

i fuckin hate the EUSSR
We need more honest politicians like DH, who represent the people who elect them.
Not those who lie and cheat to get into power, then serve themselves and forget what they are SUPPOSED to be doing there. We're lucky to have him.
And of course, he's a Tory! ;-)

If only we had people like him in US Congress. I love watching videos of him.
My friend Amy is absolutely crazy about him too and says she wants to marry him.
