Pikmin 2 ♫ ~ Awakening Wood [Orchestral] ~Vonyco

Oh boy, this was a lot of work. Surprisingly, (and quite unfortunately), there are very little Pikmin midi's out there. Because of this, there are also very few Pikmin remixes. Given this, it should come as no surprise that there is no Awakening Wood midi. So how on earth did I create this remix? Well, I had to transcribe every little note BY EAR, something I really hate doing. Though, since "Awakening Wood" has very few voices (only three ever playing at once), the task wasn't all that bad.

So if there is any demand for an Awakening Wood midi, I would be more than happy to make a midi and upload it to VGmusic. Considering that there IS a demand, though. Pikmin is an under appreciated game, after all.

And I feel that I do have to apologize. A whole month gone by without a remix? Outrageous! Yes, my "I was so busy" excuse won't work here because, truth be told, I was not. I am working on a few other projects at the moment, but the biggest problem is that I can't think of any video game music worth remixing. I've pretty much done all of my favorite tracks (bar for a few Pikmin and MOTHER pieces). I know a lot of individuals have been issuing requests, but I just can't remix a piece of music that I'm not that "in" to. Eh, maybe I'll just transcribe Pikmin music for the rest of time. :P (That was a joke. Don't panic!)

Two more things. 1) Yes, the title encourages a very intriguing innuendo. :P and
2) Where, the heck is my Pikmin 3? ;(

That's wierd that there is no midis, considering the game is midi based. If you want, I can try to rip the midis and send em to you if you want.

Yeah, I expected there to be more Midi's out there. I'm really not quite sure how midi implementation works in regards to video game systems, but I would absolutely love you if you somehow managed to rip some tracks from the game. :D Not only would it save me a lot of trouble when it comes to remixing the tracks, but I'd also be able to use the music for study.

Still, I'm skeptical as to if it's possible to directly rip the midi's. See if it's possible; if it isn't, no big deal.

Back on '07, I think it was, Nintendo announced they were working on Pikmin 3, so don't you worry; it's on it's way! Let's just cross our fingers and hope it won't turn into Pikmin Forever.

That's the problem. 2007. :/ That was quite a long time ago. We still don't have any information about the game, save for the knowledge that it is (supposedly) still in development.

I suppose I can wait. The game had better be great, though. D:

Great Nintendo-based music. You have just earned yourself a subscriber. I love the introduction! I could just imagine a high-quality graphic television show or something about the introduction of the Awakening Wood. Slowly pass by trees shedding blossoms, pass by a water fall, then several scenes of Pikmin and Olimar separated by the percussion, and then the journey begins.
