For me most interesting are Goldene Zwanziger Jahre with its hot dance American-style syncopatred craze and many world-class orchestras: e.g. Dajos Bela, Paul Godwin, Efim Schachmeister, Julian Fuhs, Lud Gluskin and dozens others. In YT you'll find a huge selection of these recordings. The 1930s with the nazi-controlled cultural life were the time of a smoother, more "domestic" music, but some very good swing too (Oskar Joost, H. Rohrbeck, Teddy Stauffer, Kurt Widmann, Bauschke, many others)
