YES THERE ARE PLENTY OF BAD PAD HOLDERS AND POO INSTRUCTORS IN THAILAND .
futhermore they mint PHD holders of muay thai quite freely AND EXPORT THEM for good measure..
buyer beware is an old saying that is still very true today and right now ..
it is much smarter to learn the basics in you home country than waisting time and big money . unless money in no object ??

@torontomatt This is one of the worst camps i have ever been to i went for one day and seen enough a get better training 5 mins from my house in the uk . I look at the pad man in your video hes no interested in teaching u jack shit the funny thing is the club must make a fortune there was about 30 ferangs trying to train with about 3 instructers what a waste of your hard earned cash !!!

To be honest, I liked the training with Chin in Ko Phangan and True Bee in Pia best. Perhaps it's just the day that I was there, but there wasn't much structure at Lanna. I think I was lucky to work with Den, and not all of the pad holders looked as good as him. From what I could tell, Lanna seemed to have a lot of softer tourists. Are you planning to fight?

I have a great pic of the bruises on my ribs after training with Den. Intense guy in the ring, but so nice outside of it.
