I miss the nice dark green Sahara's used in Spain's Gardia Civil early sixties... maybe some derelict's hidden unawarenessly in sunny Spain. I remember one -always troubled with syncronizing engines- in Torreveija Costa long ago.

These are amazing cars, pure genius. I read somewhere that there are only 27 known to exist today ? whether that is true or not i don't know. I also know a few years after production ended, one was built new from spare parts!
The Price guide in the french "Deuche" magazine said that one of these is worth 31000 euros in good condition.
