I first heard this song performed by Manfred Mann but quickly found the Muddy Waters version. I have only recently heard the excellent original recording by Ann Cole, for whom Preston Foster Wrote it. Over the years, I have heard versions by BB King, Eric Clapton, Elvis, Melanie, JJ Cale, Alexis Korner and loads more - this is my version/arrangement that takes bits and pieces from all of the above and some ideas of my own.
