I would recommend using a belt on heavy loads, something like 5x5 powerlifting type training...your core has a NATURAL existing belt which gets worked...in my opinion wearing a belt on lower pundage higher reps is a mistake, how will your natural belt get used if you're wearing a belt which takes over that function??
charles you mention in your article that it is a good thing to start wearing a belt when squatting heavy. but how heavy is heavy enough for you to warrant the use of a lifting belt?
