Heres a look at a typical recording session in a studio using the StudioLive as my interface as well as sending headphone mixes to an entire band.

  • Is a scandal ......after six months of life and the mixer is stopped, I discovered that Brazil has no warranty and I have to pay 700 reais to fix it.

  • @paolofior I have notified our director of international sales of this issue, and we are working on it. I am sorry you have had a bad experience with our product. We are looking into your case to help make it right again.

  • Great help for me!! I just purchased the 16-4-2 and waiting for my studio building to be completed. These videos are really giving me a better understanding of the Presonus line.

  • @graysgeegah Thanks, glad to know they're working for you, let us know what else you'd like to see!

  • Mann ur are the best!!

  • @GUARDAD0503 Thanx!

  • What a Great Demonstration of the StudioLive, Don't We Wish Every Audio Company Demo Like This Instead of Just Talking Shit.

  • Had my studiolive for 3 months, played with it for about 1/2 an hour then took it and used it live with my band. Easy to use and sounds great. We gig 1 - 2 times a week and everything sounds great, the presets are really useful too. We have recorded several gigs and are constantly amazed with the clarity and quality straight of the desk, so after mixing it's even better. We plan to use it to record our next release. will keep you updated.

  • : ) Amazing hehe

  • Wait... so you can't record automation with this mixer??????.... does it have motorized faders??

  • @JoseVillaDrums The final mix can be recorded into your daw, it shows up as inputs 17-18 for the main bus. You should have your fx busses assigned to the main output OR if you want you can assign the output of the fx busses to the subgroups and not the mains so you have better control and if you want you can record the fx subgroups as seperate channels in your daw.

  • Thank you very much for this video series! THis was very helpfull for me to understand some of the basic concepts using the mixer in a studio environment.
