Live performance.
This rather dark offering is the only footage of me playing the organ at this time.
Recorded at the Royal Hotel,Clacton-on-sea,during the Peter Brock summer show.
I was using his Elka X705

  • I visited your site-very interesting-I was a `gigging` musician until I was seriously ill(with brain haemorrhage-now ten years ago)-I still manage to play(with great difficulty, sometmes)for church on Sunday mornings, and have made several music CDs since, but my efforts, these days, are very limited, however,I do like to `keep up` with the scene.

I wish you well in your endeavours.

  • So glad my humble efforts have resulted in you getting an X705-it was a lovely organ and,at one time`the top of the fleet`(portable version),for rhe Elka range. Coupled with their own version of Leslie speaker-it was a meaty sound!

I used to visit the factory in halstead, quite often.

I had two,but unfortunately space limitations here have meant that many of my instruments have now gone!

    Happy new Year,

    Allen Warrender

  • I'm thinking about getting an x705. Thanks so much for posting this. And killer playing too!
