1972 Ford Gran Torino Hardtop. only paid 500 buck for this car, was sitting on the side of some guys house for 12 years. and that guy bought it from someone else back in 1992 and never drove it. So it sat for around 17 years. all I did was give it a good wash, waited till it dried and poured some gas in the carb and bowls. While reading back in the service records, found out that the engine (351C 2B) was completely rebuilt in 81, and trans in 86 or 87. This was the true first start of this car. And as always DAVIDSFARM ROCKS! Oh and it does not have a gas tank, so if anyone knows where to get a cheap one or have one for sale let me know

  • $500? awsome deal, good luck with the gas tank, maybe year1 has it?

  • good-o realiable FORD!!!!!!!1

  • My dad had that same model for years but he sold it back in the late 90s now it was scrapped after dying on the interstate from the guy that bought it

  • potty mouth

  • I ust paid 800.00 for mine yesterday man I love when this kind of thing just falls in my lap this car is becoming rare. I rarely see them at shows so when I and the draw a crowd.

  • OMFG ik its a beast

  • @KHAN1350 a heartbeat so let me know if you want one i do this nearly everyday and dont mind at all =)

  • @KHAN1350 file the points set the gap to 10 thousands remove the fuel line going into the pump if its mechanical then put a redneck gas tank on it to limp it home you should be golden unless there is something severe about it like coil carb starter wiring but this works almost everytime if the car was just parked there running otherwise determine the problem and repair it but i wouldnt do it on the guys property unless your friends with him and a running car drives the price i can make a vid in

  • I was wondering if you could make a video of how to start a car thats been sitting for a long time? I wanted to get a 1986 monte carlo supersport thats been sitting for 7 years. How do I go about doing this? I cant take it home as its not mine yet but is there anything I can do to make it run even for a few minutes? while its at the owners house?

if I do get it running and buy the car, once I tow it home what should I be changing/doing on it before regularly driving it?
