Video and still photography of East Mountain in Philipstown (Putnam County,)New York.
The destruction of our local Streams and wetlands is happening throughout Philipstown, and USEPA region 2 and NYSDEC region 3 are allowing it. Philipstown recently applied for and received FEMA funding for flooding that was a result of the heavy rainfall experienced during April of 2007. Since March 2003 Stormwater Phase II has been in effect here in Philipstown, and yet the NYSDEC region 3 and the Town of Philipstown have sadly let our local environment, as well as the people of PHilipstown down, by conducting business as though these Federally Mandated Amendments to our "Clean Water Act," didn't exist.
Thanks for watching. How sad it is, when you stop to think how much damage we've done to our environment is such a short period of time. Take care!

Thank you for posting this and your other videos. Our Planet is in such crisis, on so many levels and I am grateful that individuals like yourselves are willing to put it on the line for what you believe in. Thank you for taking the time to call this to the attention of whoever sees this video, it's important!
Keep up the great work and don't give up, you'll eventually get through to the right person, who will be willing to help.
