  • BOC honestly should have a record deal. I'd love to see what they could put out 7 years after Hidden Mirror.

  • What I really want to know is, will there ever be any new BOC material??

  • Spent a lot of time with them backstage at a dhow in Berlin, NH in 1997. Good times!

  • Dude. Their last album is called Curse of the Hidden Mirror. Heaven Forbid came out over 10 years ago.

  • well there last album , wich i really enjoyed by the way and ive be following these guys since 73, came out a couple of years ago and is called Heaven Forbid.

  • So very true. Youve seen them live I take it? I got to see them with Joe and Albert back around 89-90 they were only hired to fill in for a few shows. They were amazing. Ive seen them a few times since then last one was back around 98 or 99 (?) at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach.

  • Very interesting interview, thanks.

  • COTHM was a commercial failure. The reality is that BOC is now an old band. They have limited their output to the classics and have not updated their sound. The best shot at redemption was Imaginos which the band distances themselves from It is not a BOC record but it is still regarded as a watershed moment. Too much bad blood between Albert and the rest killed whatever chance the album had. After that the decent to the bars was unavoidable.
