Small finger-like beams of energy reaching out far from the probe
blast deep craters in the material as accompanying waves of an
electric wind sweep the surface smooth. In close to the probe,
concentrated activity moves some material into central
accumulations while blowing away large areas of dusty material. These features match those found of planetary surfaces in ways too obvious to dismiss, and there are many more examples from experiments.
